Developers Can Request Custom Permissions
One of the main innovations of HYPLAY is that it enables developers to request certain permissions from players.
Upon signing in to a game or application. the developer can request permissions from players such as automatically spending X amount of $TOPIA or ERC-20 token, burn an NFT from a specific collection, and more.
By pre-requesting permissions from players and players pre-approving these requests, games will be able to provide a completely frictionless experience. Things such as triggering a burn to craft an item in-game or a marketplace transaction will all be done automatically, and gaslessly.
These permissions are explicitly stated to players, showing them what the developer has the power to do within the scope of what they are authorizing.
A huge issue in the web3 space is that users a majority of the time have no clue what the contract they are approving or signing is actually doing. HYPLAY changes that and ensures players are aware of what is being requested. These permissions also have an expiration time (at the current time the default is 12 hours).
Compared to HYPLAY, existing web3 solutions fall flat in enabling players to engage with their games without the need to manually approve or sign various transactions and pop-ups from MetaMask and other wallets.

Developers utilizing HYPLAY in their games or apps can use typical auth-token flows in conjunction with HYPLAY’s APIs to submit transactions, read data, get profile information (depending on what information a player allows), and more.
