"Berserker"
Crit Damage Build
Gear
Build Summary
The “Berserker” build focuses on maximizing our Crit damage to deal heavy damage while also maintaining high survivability through Lifesteal,
Guardian, and
Big Hero.
Rampage increases our ATK and ATK Speed and synergizes well with
Lifesteal – more hits = more life!
All skills in Loot Legends are viable, so your loadouts can be pretty flexible depending on what you need or like.
Gear
For this build we are using the Suit of Crystal Power set, which is a Lv. 100 mid-high level Legendary gear set that can be dropped starting at the Level 71 Frozen Dungeon. This gear set has plenty of firepower built-in from each piece’s Star Stats and adds great survival through the Suit Stat bonuses.
Suit of Crystal Power Set Bonuses:
- 3 Suit Activated: HP +9000
- 5 Suit Activated: DEF +900
- 8 Suit Activated: HP +10%
The Suit of Crystal Power isn’t an early game set, so you can use Fighter Suit or Suit of Magic until you can get it – just prioritize getting the high-rolled stats on your gear. The Suit of Crystal Power will also be swapped out for a higher-level set as I get further into the game.
Skills
Our primary loadout for Dungeons is going to be Lifesteal,
Rampage,
Guardian,
Big Hero, and
Sword Rage.
Rampage increases our ATK and ATK Speed and also adds a 30% bleed chance while we are in rage at level 10. This is great to synergize with our
Lifesteal because increasing our ATK will increase how much damage we deal per hit, and increasing our ATK Speed will increase how many hits we can dish out in the 8s timeframe. This helps us out immensely with our survival and will save us a couple of healing potions over time.
Sword Rage does a massive amount of AOE damage and also slows enemies.
We round out our loadout with Guardian and
Big Hero.
Guardian reduces DMG by (25% + 1% per skill level) for 5 seconds and increases our HP limit by 10% for 10s. Guardian unlocks further down the skill tree, so this can be substituted for
Dark Shield or
Bounce until you unlock it.
Big Hero is self explanatory, it’s a huge heal that we can use during battle or in between.
Big Hero is pretty crucial to have for resource sustain as it will save us a lot of HP potions for when we get in danger.
Alternative Skills
Snowball does amazing damage and is great for stunning tough enemies in order to buy time to get our healing off. Try using this skill in boss fights or PVP settings as this is where it truly shines.
Marking allows us to deal (15% + 1% per skill level) additional damage to the target, while also getting 2 skill points per hit and additional items drop on death. This is super useful for bossing and in PvP situations as it is a single-target ability, so feel free to substitute this in for
Lifesteal.
If survivability is still an issue, we can also swap out the Crystal Power Broadsword for the
Crystal Power Ax as our weapon so we can use
Ax Rage which increases our ATK and DEF by 30% and makes us immune to all debuffs.
Passives
Our key passives we want to prioritize are Crit,
EVA and
Slash Kill.
Crit will massively increase our critical damage per level, while
EVA massively increases our evade stat per level.
Slash Kill allows us a chance to one-shot kill monsters that are below an HP % threshold based on skill level – while this is RNG it can greatly shorten our encounter times and allow us to preserve our potions and resources.
Obviously skills are level-gated, so as you progress later into the game you will want to invest points into Near Death and
Block when you unlock them.
Stats
Loot Legends is very unforgiving as you progress later into the game, so the glass-cannon approach is not advised unless you are grinding lower level dungeons. You will surely notice if you are lacking in one area, so we do need to balance our stats between survival and damage.
We want to prioritize Crit, ATK, HP, and EVA on as many of our gear pieces as possible – ideally 5. Maximizing your EVA as much as possible will allow you to dodge more attacks which will increase your survival by a lot. Your remaining affixes should be a mix of HP Regen, MP Regen, Anti-Crit and DEF. HP Regen and MP Regen can be buffed with a Recovery potion while in a dungeon.
